You should let the kids know that since Dad likes the flute toys so much, they should keep them at his place and then they can toot the heck out of them!!

I went to bed kind of early around 9:30 and that was just a little bit later than he sometimes he has them home. I fell asleep and woke up around midnight or so and didn't want to call b/c H sleeps in the same room as the kids so didn't want to wake them up. I figured he just kept them an extra night without telling me, although I had a little bit of worry since I didn't know for sure. Then he brought them home Sunday am b/c they didn't have church clothes--about 10 minutes before church so they could change. I'm going to bed now, feel so much better when I sleep. D9 and I see the C tomorrow too. I've been having awful nightmares when I'm sleeping, bad people chasing me and one I went on fire somehow and I was screaming in pain. Probably TMI, but really horrible lately... Karen
So did you work today? did the other job every call you back? I hope you are doing good. I "chatted" with lodo last night and caught him up on your situation. He doesn't like your H much either!

Doing great. The one job is just a weekend job, and the owner said she didn't have a lot of hours so don't know how that will work out. The other job (the counselor job) did call me back and I have an interview Thursday am. That is 8-5 but I would be a backup counselor. He said I might work full time one week, but some months I may only work a few days. So that might be doable. You also can always turn down working they say if you can't work that day, but I'm thinking if you do that too much they might hire someone else instead! But if I have a court date or something might not be able to help it of course.
The L calls me this am first thing and asks me to get her some info from the bank today. Then she calls back about 10 minutes later and says well I need it right away. So did that, then I went to the C and D9. Lunch and Terrific Tuesday. Came home and made dinner, worked out, and starting to get ready to move hopefully next month. So that was my day. Hope everyone else is doing good!
H came up to see me while I was working out upstairs. He did knock and I said come in. I was reading and didn't pay much attention to him, not planned or anything, just didn't feel like it. H wanted to tell me which bills I'm supposed to pay and which ones he will pay (or not pay I'm guessing). Feel like again he could have just emailed me that info as I've asked him don'tcha think! Karen
He likes to have control. So he does things his way with you. He doesn't like it when you stand up for yourself, he usually becomes even more of a jerk.
Will the house you are moving to be alot smaller? I know we went to a real estate place when we wanted to rent a townhouse. Just gives you more ideas. You might want to stop by Snow White's thread, she had a rough day yesterday. She is back on here with us for the moment.

Yes, I think it'll be interesting to see what happens when I start dating someone. I think he will get more bothered than he thinks, maybe not loving me anymore, but losing that final bit of control or whatever. I probably will have to get a small place, although looking for a house b/c of my 70 pound mutt and you know D9 has meltdowns almost every day and wouldn't feel good making neighbors listen to our racket. But it'll be mine and the kids of course, so that will be cool. I called some real estate agents, and will call one the next little town over and will see if they have anything there.
Thanks for telling me about Snow. Sorry to hear she's having a rough time, but so glad she is posting again! I know I couldn't have survived this past year without DB, or at least I don't think as well anyway!!! Karen

Yep, I do like that. And I'm thinking when I move out of our house, hopefully next month, that will help too, as it will be my house rather than what he thinks of as ours I'm thinking.
OK, I have that job interview tomorrow am and I've been researching the job online today. It's called a "peer specialist" and I accidentally called it peer counselor when I called yesterday, oops. It sounds wonderful. I'd be using my experiences with depression to help others, it has teaching components, small group teaching and individual, and my psychology degree would probably be useful too. I was surprised they called me for an interview, but I actually can see my education/life experience would be good for this. Even my legal assistant experience might be helpful b/c some of the patients may have legal problems, and I'm even familiar with that!!! How cool to have such a meaningful job. But I'm not going to get my hopes up or anything, I still have my "gap" in the resume, and in Tallahassee there are usually 100 or 200 applicants per job, and that was before the recession! But if nothing else will be a good experience, and usually they like me, and then maybe in future I could get a job there if I keep applying (which I probably will). Karen
Just keep thinking that they don't call all 100-200 applicants for an interview. You are on the short list!! I agree about the house too. It will be yours and he doesn't need to have a key even. So is that a done deal? Are you for sure moving?
