The house foundation is done, and they are finishing up with filling in around it. They will start putting up the framing this week (hopefully). We keep reminding ourselves of our awful Christmas last year. The anniversary of the Bomb is coming up soon - I really can't believe we made it some times.
SD9 was with her father this weekend. W and I did a lot of Christmas shopping for both our families. My laptop died a sudden and violent death, so I got a new computer. We were able to eat out at places without Happy Meals, and relax in the evenings, just the two of us. We no longer have any wine left in the house! It was snowing off and on, and it really feels like Christmastime here.
We just picked up SD9 and got a tree and will be decorating it tonight. Another busy work week then I'm back to NYC next weekend to see D14 in a couple of plays she is involved in. The week of Christmas I'm going under the knife.
