Interesting question Purr! Yes, it would be nice if H would be captivated by me and act on it (I'm still not sure that CEO is, but he certainly pays a good compliment).
In my ideal world, the next outcome would be that on Monday H expresses his utmost regret for his actions and asks if I could see any possibility of working things out.
I realise that's highy unlikely, though, so I'm not holding my breath.
The second best scenario would be..... for me to feel comfortable with the idea of D and able to move to it.
I'd just like to add that my ideal scenario's are exactly the same as yours.
I will add that my third scenario is to have hot inappropriate rip-your clothes sex off with gorgeous, intelligent, funny CEO at work conference, knowing that H is lonely and miserable on the floor downstairs. Followed the next day by lots of under the table leg rubs with CEO while at the same conference. I will live vicariously through you Lisa seeing I don't have a CEO!
