When my W decided over the summer to "punish me" by throwing the checkbook and credit cards at me.....and threatening to turn off all the utilities....I immediately called my insurance co....and got seperate policies for all my own vehicles. All utilities were in my name by the next day I even got my own cell account. Don't known if this helps....
