Today we celebrated Saint Nicholas. My parents, my sister and her H and kids, my inlaws and H came over. It was lovely. The kids were so happy with all their presents, they were just over the moon. H spent most of the night helping them build all of their toy houses. We had dinner and it was all very nice. H stayed the longest. He took D7 and S5 home with him. They wanted to go with daddy, and also D7 has to play a very early hockey match tomorrow. S5 just wanted to be with his daddy. It hurt when they left, I felt my heart break a little again, but I stayed strong. It will be a long weekend without my kids. I will have to think of something fun to do. Next weekend H and ow are off with H's family to New York, to visit the big Apple...I'm finding that hard.
Anyway, it was a lovely day.
