Santa Mom didn't show last night or this morning. No biggie. Y'all know I like it that way anyway, at least for me.
She just called with the excuse that she didn't have her stuff to get ready for work with her. And that she wanted to hang with the kids tonight before my Mom got there. I told her that was fine; I would just go out for a bit while she was there.
Convo was normal and friendly. She closed by saying, "OK honey, see ya then." I do not like the endearing term right now. Her tone was all lovey like she used to use when things were good. I need to ask her to stop using those terms. don'tcha think?
