Yes, I'm really working hard on the forgivness, I feel this is something I have to do for myself & then if he ever wakes up I've got a head start.
I'm going to meet a friend of mine on Wed. night, we get to see each other when I go to church there but that is about it. She has been wonderful to me thru this mess, we talk a lot via email. So, I'm looking forward to that & then Thanksgiving Day I am going to do my best to enjoy & not think about the way things used to be or how they could be. My H always carved the turkey, oh well it will be all right & I'm sure he won't get the home cooking my Mom does, I make this potato salad that he just loves & also my Mom will have pecan pie! He is missing out!! You are so right, he is in an anti-American country & they do not have the freedoms we have here. It could be a rude awakening for him.
God is good & He is helping me thru this, I know it!!!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting much, I will catch up on your threads soon. Thank you all for being here for me!!!! I did have a nice Thanksgiving with my parents, it still didn't stop me from thinking about my ex. I just miss him so bad sometimes & it still feels like all this is just a nightmare & he will be back soon, but I know that is not going to happen right away if at all. It's just so unreal to me!!!

Yes, I believe you & I both know exactly what each other are feeling. It is terrible!!!! Some nights I just miss him so bad I can't stand it & so many things I want to tell him & talk to him about but I know I can't. But I do keep praying. I hope you have a nice weekend also!!!
A really strange thing happened to me today, well strange it not the word but it was just so sweet! I took my oldest dog back to the holistic vet, while we were in the waiting room a woman came in to get some supplements for her dog, she started petting my dog & said how pretty she was, ask her name & what was wrong. I told her she was having some kidney failure. She asked me could she say a prayer, I said of course. She got on her knees & started petting my dog & praying for her & for me, I've never ever seen this woman. I just thought that was the sweetest thing!!! Never had that happen before. They did do blood test on my dog & her kidneys are not any better, in fact the level was higher than the last time, so that has me pretty concerned. He did increase some of the supplements & also gave her something else for the kidneys so I hope next month they will be better. And she ate better tonight than she has in the past few days.
Now, while I was in there, this vet knows I'm looking for a job. He called his wife in there & said that I was needing a job & wanted to pray. So, he said lets hold hands so all 3 of us held hands & he & his wife started praying, it was so sweet!!!! They also know my sitch with my H so it was a wonderful experience today. Never had this happen at a vets office before.
That really was amazingly sweet. God sends good people to you when you really need them, I think.
I hope your doggy feels better soon. I lost one in July to old age, another in Oct. to old age/renal failure, and am currently nursing one with cancer, so I know how hard it is. You are a great dog mom.

My dog is 14 & I know she has lived longer than most big dogs, but after what all I've gone thru this year I just can't loose her now so I'm doing everything I can.
Andabelle, my dog has the renal failure also, how bad did your dog get? My dogs creatinine level is 3.8 & her BUN was 72 so I just wondered about your dog. She acts like she feels really good, in fact she had to take her squeeky toy to the vet yesterday & this morning she walked around squeeking it. She only played with balls when she was little & didn't like the squeeky toys but when we got our younger one she liked them so my older decided she liked them too now she plays with them all the time. She does sleep a lot but I would too if I were her age! I sure love my girls & these are the only kids I have so I try to take really good care of them.
You are so right, God does send good people when we really need them & I really needed them yesterday!!!
