I wouldn't go so far as to put up a stocking for W...but you really should put them up for you and the kids. They will all see it as some point this month, and it balances out the unspoken symbol at the house. It would be kind, and I bet S would love getting some decorations for your pad and putting them up. Let him take the lead - bet YOU will have lights in your windows, too! D16, too - you were wondering what kind of activity would draw her in to spend more time with you.....one word - SHOPPING!!!
No eating, you don't even have to buy anything! Window shop, stop at a music store and find out what she's listening to, make a mental note of the jewelry and accessories she Oohs over, then surprise her for XMas.
It was the one way my Dad found to bond with me, and the driving back and forth (and sometimes getting lost / exploring on purpose) was just as important. Something about the car - sitting next to someone, instead of across, makes it easier to open up about the deeper stuff. No pressure to face someone in the eye...

Happy Friday tomorrow!!

Well, the great stocking caper has been solved! S10 did not finish putting the stockings up, so it WASN'T intentional. He told me yesterday that he started to put them up but didn't finish (5 stockings and he got distracted at 3! The Ritalin Ranger!)

Also, D18 told me STBX sent her a huge care package at school. Go figure. Army this weekend..ARMY STRONG!

I so agree with Donna on both.

Even though you found out about the set of stockings at "the house" I would still put some up at your house! They are the favorite part of Christmas for me. I even help Santa with things I would love to find in my own stocking on Christmas morning! Be good to yourself!!!

Thanks, Mattie. I'm afraid Army won't have a chance, but who knows. This one is more than a game.

Putting up stockings and starting your own traditions is a great plan.

Also going back a page, 9 years is hardly anything age wise, especially past 30.

Have a good weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Flllllllll... (not gonna do it.. promise!)

It's a date, not a lifetime commitment. A good barometer is..

If you don't want to, don't.
If you do want to, do.
If you waffle back and forth the answer is no.
If after waffling and deciding to say no.. and your mind says yes yes yes... listen to your little head.

Ackk.. just kidding.

You already knew the answer before you asked. Listen to you intuition. Men have that.. right?

*hugs*

Did you hear the Sound Tigers were giving out free tickets.. I don't know if the promotion is over are not but it was affiliated with an electrical company. Does your son enjoy that?

I have free tickets! I DID Hear that. Thanks for the advice ladies about the woman at the gym. She is smart, funny, good looking, irreverent and said YES I'D LIKE THAT when I asked her out. That's all I know right now.

When are you taking her to dinner? Just try to be the most upbeat, positive person you can be, and everything else will fall into place!
