She is going to be out of town for the week on business and asked if she could have S7 an extra night this week since she will miss her night next week. She asked for Sunday night, but he and I already had plans so I offered Saturday night.

No answer.

I sent her another email two days later..."Did you want Saturday night? I'd like to make plans if not."

"No"

6 months ago this woman would have walked 10 miles in a driving snowstorm to spend 10 minutes with her son. These days seeing the OM before her week long trip is more important.

Life is a trip.

Oh, PS: She told me tonite she is not going to pay her final month of "support" to me. She had promised to continue paying on our bills until Jan, but now...not so much.

Silly rabbit, should I tell her that I am only an "authorized user" on "our" credit card and she is the (only) fiscally responsible party? Heh. She would blow a gasket. \:\)

My W is the same way. Blinded by OM.

It appears she is currently in California on vacation w/ OM.

I spent my vacation w/ my son - going to the zoo, visiting family, going to waterpark, etc.

It is good to have priorities.

Hang in there.

For the first time in 3 months, I did not take a mood-altering supplement all day.

St Johns Wort is the only thing that kept me going for all that time...today I didn't need it.

I'm doing good. Thanks.

Still status-quo.

This feels like a "dark" contest. I am dark, she is dark...who will blink first?

She makes no attempt to talk to me, call me, or email me. I have said probably 10 words to her in 6 weeks (even with a kid in the mix), and they have all been $$ related. Not much DB'ing other than LRT to say the least.

It makes detachment a lot easier, but now I find myself forgetting that I even have a STBXW. It's weird.

As for D, I have no idea what is going on. I have not heard from my L in a LONG time, which (probably) means he has not heard from her L in a long time. As I mentioned in TxMoms thread, my L bill for the month of Nov was a whopping 0.7 hours of billable time. Yes, zero point seven.

I need to be very careful here and not pretend (to myself) that my W is having a change of heart and is stalling the D on purpose. I have zero indications that this is the case from either her words or actions.

Very strange...I always assumed that marriages ended like my parents did or those I saw on TV...years of fighting and reconciling followed by an acrimonious D process.

Mine is more like a light switch...I woke up one morning and it was just...over.

It feels like my W died more than it does a D.

SS, How are you?

I only ask because you mention that it feels more like her death than your divorce?

I'm doing OK.

What I meant was that between LRT and going "dark" it feels more like she died than a divorce. I don't see her, I don't talk to her, and I think about her less every day.

For me, for my sitch, it was really like that. Everything fine, then BAM...gone. She got hit by a bus (metaphorically).

She has not softened a bit in the months since, but with OM still in the picture, I guess no one really expects her to.

Superstar -

I feel much the same. W left... created a little conflict on the way out. Now has cut-off all contact. OM is still in the picture... nothing can be done.

Stay strong, and keep doing what you're doing. Let the BS run its course.
