Don't sweat too much on finding time to demonstrate changes.
You will have your chance, but it will never under your time frame, so be patient.
Even he notices your changes, he may probably think these are just temporary.
Don't get discourage if he says anything negative about your changes.
I believe our WASs think we will never change. That's why consistency is the key. Work on your changes hard daily so they just become natural to you.
You are right, it is a very very long road. It took years for your M to get to this point. It probably will take just as long if not longer to get back on track.

I also want to point out one thing. Affair is an affair, EA or PA. They are just as damaging to any M. If you think the OW is not an issue, that's good, but I suggest do prepare yourself for the worst. You know what I mean...!!
