Hey Mike, for what it's worth on the co-parenting and ROR, I don't know that I agree with the "if you don't start it early it ain't gonna happen" thing.
Been D'd for going on six months now. There has never, ever, ever been a glimmer of true co-parenting from the X. I was worried about my S8 being shipped off to stay with her new BF this coming Friday because X and my 3 daughters are going to a concert in Nashville. I sent a couple of hints through the grapevine that I would like to have 1st dibs on my son for that night so that he didn't end up w/ BF and his three sons. X txt'd me this AM offering him up to me that night. I checked with both sources that I sent the hints through and neither had talked to her. So... it would appear that this is unsolicited and perhaps genuine offer!
Yay! Maybe she isn't as stupid and uncaring as I thought. I just knew she would take this opportunity to allow my S8 to "bond" with the BF and his three sons.
