As for the mother of the child....well....her parents are doctors, she is set financially....she has her own house, money in the bank and makes more money than my H....I'm sure she just wants her part of the pie.....I don't totally blame her...it took two of them and yes now she knows he's w OW so it may have ticked her off too....my H didn't see his son for 3 years at all..
I did tell my H last night to take he and I out of the picture...it's 4 children who are hurting....I included his...no..it's not the little boys fault...I have always felt for him there...he has had no father all these years...and now he is forced to get to know his family....very scary for a 9 yr old....my son is having a hard time at 11....
The budget is for him...has nothing to do with me...he wants it so he can take it to court to fight the mother....but I have to write it all out cause it will affect me also...the mother is not suffering at all...we however struggle....now we will struggle more....thanks to her...nothing I can change about it now...nothing at all....it's done....now I have to move on...
My H will have to mend the fences with his kids...I stay out of it....we don't even really talk about him cause it causes too much undo stress....my kids know I will always love their dad...my D21 actually gets mad at me for saying that....she says, "I don't know why"....some day I will be able to explain it better right now too many emotions involved...
I will be as strong as I can but my stomach is in a knot....Christmas will be interesting.....

What you should have done is either NOT answered his text at all (hey, if you were in bed with a hot man would you have answered his text? NO) or said "Hey, I'm out partying, I'll talk to you about this stuff tomorrow".

You are so right....I did take the bait....didn't think about that until you said it....the way he talked it was so calm and matter of fact...I didn't think he really cared where I was...he wants me to go out and find someone else.... It does blow my mind how he just assumes I'll get everything together for him...he knows me all too well...I almost have to get it together because it affects me as much as him...I have to write down everything because if not she'll get more money...don't get me wrong...he NEEDS to take care of his son...but she has so much money....why in the world does she need to go after us....
H picked up son yesterday...took him for the afternoon...brought him back at 8....H saw the photos I took on Thanksgiving of me and the kids....he didn't say much just when he saw the one of the kids he asked, "is this mine"...I said no...I'd get him one later....
