Just wanted to thank you for posting to me last week. I am trying to catch up with your story.
I think you are doing a great job taking the high road with your H and I know you can woo him away from that "white trash". He probably knows it too and is embarrassed - hence his mood changes.
About trying to explain your H's behavior to your friends - I find that when they react with "that's crazy or I can't believe he's doing that" and I say well, it's textbook MLC, he's reading from a script - they look at me like I'm the crazy one!
