MC - I find your W an interesting character.

I had a friend who had her 4 th son and the following week she upped and left the whole lot. Her H moved in to his MIL who helped for the next few years.

She never came back for 12 years. when she did it was with a new guy and her 5th son.

She said that after her 4th son and the thought she could not have anymore children ( her H did not want anymore ) she said she just snapped. Like an elastic band and her only way to save herself was to leave. We know now that post natal depression is a serious illness.

She missed all those years with her 4 sons and continues to do so ans she says she never looked back.

I dont believe her. She is lying. She hurts now every day of her life and her 4 sons paid an incredible price.

There dad remarried and although the new wife was okay, she came with her own children and of course the boys were not as loved as her own.

I know you deserve happiness but I think to protect your own children you need to ALWAYS be there for them first, at least for the next few years while they find their feet.

sorry - felt like telling you that story and that it is sooooooo hot here that everyone is flocking to the beach.......

Hey M,

Thanks for the story. It gives me some insight and that is exactly what I believe could happen to my W. Time will tell.

So, about your weather, you can quit telling me how HOT is anytime. LOL. I'm jealous!!! We got snow this morning. though we always equate Christmas here in the Northern Hemisphere with cold and snow; it would not break my heart to have a palm tree decorated with Christmas lights while drinking beer on the beach opening up presents. AAHHHHHH!!!!

LOL Tom..my mom, who lived in Florida for a while, said it was hard to get use to Christmas, to get into the Christmas spirit, being in Florida where you'd be in shorts and laying out in the sun on Christmas day..I think I'd adjust ;\)

Now I don't like the big bulbs on the tree..but, hey..what's wrong with tinsel?

Well, I'm really wimpy then cause I'm in Florida, and I'd rather go further south this time of year! We should all plan that for next year. A tropical Christmas!

And, we use the multi-colored C7 bulbs on our tree...so, I say, let her put up your "tacky" tree! I'd probably like it better anyway111

Hugs to you!
Amy

So you aren't willing to reduce your carbon footprint for Christmas? LOL. I'm sure Santa will enjoy your C9's when the elves are wearing life preservers! I don't have Windows Mobile, just Media Net from AT&T. I can read posts, but can't login. I'll probably get a letter from work saying they are dinging me for data rates. I need an EvDo option for the laptop.

Who knows what your W is doing with all her mixed messages. When she gets the apartment you can set boundaries I guess and see what happens. So she solved her lack of $ issues?

Hey MC (and LE),

Don't want to 'blow my cover', but can't resist the reference. I work at the evil empire as one of the senior developers on Windows Mobile team.

You might find this funny, but I've never tried to post from my phone. Is there a problem?

I thought the evil empire was the NY Yankees? ;->

Used to be, I guess, now that they are harmless...

OK techguy and AlexEN...I've enjoyed quite the laugh.

techguy, it seems that I can't post when I'm on the AT&T network. I don't think it's a Windows Mobile problem; I think it's the network. I don't have a problem posting when I'm using WiFi. So rest assured it's not your problem

AlexEN...I'm a lifelong Braves Fan. I cringed when they hire Joe Torre; but he's a great manager. Should have never let him go.

Wife and I have been having long talks tonight. Not DB'ing, I know; but we are settling some issues. I'll have more later. Stay tuned.

She's outta here..just so you have a preview.
