Karen - You're right. It is unfortunate that kids have to deal w/ divorce. It isn't fair how many people get hurt.

You're also right that the best fun can be free. There is nothing like spending time together and enjoying activities that don't have to cost a cent.

Some of my best memories are with family playing touch football in the back yard, card games of 500 w/ the family, etc etc etc.
