Last night W & I had dinner at the IL's with some of their friends. 2 years ago we had dinner with these friends and W didn't speak to me all night, last year she spoke to me only to keep up a happy appearance, but last night was just a fun evening.
All this got me thinking to where I was this time last year , and I've come a long way since then. Here in the UK we are coming up to the start of the Christmas season and people are putting up there decorations etc, W and I managed to sort out our decorations and put up the tree without any arguments that is a first for us.
To all those struggling with piecing I would just say stick at it cos it is really, really hard if you don't show patience.
So we are still moving forward, travelling that road ahead.
