Anyway you did great today. Of course he is asking. He has put you through the ringer and whether you like it or not, he for a while, will really wonder if you want to be with him, or if it is just a comfort thing. Probably because he thinks if you actually did that to him, he wouldn't stick around. Make it like dating again. You can do that. Be his girlfriend. Sounds like you have a good head start on it.
