I'm not sure what to tell you, I did read through your other thread for more detail. I unfortutnately feel, not married, no kids, hey, you have your whole life ahead of you.
But, if it is your desire to have him back, you've got to make him want you back, which souds like a bit of work as from what you say, he's checked out pretty hardcore.
I'd definately back off, and focus on myself for a while. Do the usual, search yourself out, evaluate what changed in you to change him and fix that FOR YOURSELF. Spoil yourelf a bit too while you're at it and enjoy what you can and keep your midn clear of it.
As a LBS I am a firm believer in not making initial contact, just wish I'd of figured that out sooner.
