Just spent the last 2 hours with my L. She came to the house to check it out, stripped paint off the porch, poor neglected old house. Then I went to her office and talked about the kids' evaluations H wants. I knew it! Since H waited until Wed. night at 6:30 and he said my L agreed to it, I knew he was full of crap. He's such a liar. She had said "that might be a good idea" but would have to discuss with me before she agreed to it which she hadn't. She said the place will have to have both parents signatures of consent for the eval, and I am going to call Monday and ask some ?s to see if it will be ok or not. Questions like: do they recommend special-needs children in the public schools and mainstreaming (which they do here instead of special ed), etc. If the answer is yes, then I'm going to tell the Director that I do not give my consent, and the L says he will have to set a hearing in front of the Judge to resolve it. The evaluations for the kids btw are $1200 and H has said he doesn't have the money to fix the heater, but he can pay to do that. I said to the L yes, b/c his goal is to get the kids in ps and me working full-time so he can save money. Anything to save him money so he can spend more $ on vacations with the OW he's willing to do!!! It's just so obvious to me that he is 100% motivated by $ rather than the kids' best interest, and the L was saying that too. And I hope they don't let him get away with that. Karen
