Hi Jeff, Howabout some shutters? Would they be sympathetic to the style of your house? Then you can have the light but shut them at night or when you needed privacy-hmmmmm.
I guess you don't have to worry about losing heat through the french doors like we do over here, especially at this time of the year when they say draw your curtains at dusk to keep the heat in. Have a good week end.
