Hey sweetie! Long time--no see. Been reading your thread trying to catch up. Maybe I need to look up some of my old posts? Surely not! Anyway, you are experiencing something that is as old as mankind......I wonder if Adam and Eve ever had that problem?
I was wondering about the wine. Since I don't partake, I don't know anything about it, but I have heard you say before about the problem that your wife has of falling to sleep the second her head hits the pillow. I even told you not to allow her to lie in bed while you were taking a shower b/c she would always be asleep when you got out. Anyway, I wondered if the wine had that effect on her that made her instantly sleepy? You two may just have to ML standing up in order to keep her awake!
Do you remember me telling you a long time ago about how couples had to keep that flirty, playful attitude throughout the day? It is as good as any foreplay for women that you can do. If you are acting all cool and sexy and hot and teasing her, flirting with her and being playful.....then nature will take its course. But this has to be on a fairly regular bases and not just when you want sex or that is a dead give away and she won't like it. I could always read right through my H and knew everytime he was working up to wanting sex that night. So the trick is to be cosistant and sometimes you don't even go close to having sex and sometimes....nature takes its course. That always was better for me than "planned sex". I don't know why, but it was. I also will tell you this that I don't know that I've shared, but I've shared about everything else so why stop now...huh? I discovered that I like ML after we both had gone to sleep and I would wake up in the middle of the night. I think those were the only times that I made the first move. He loved it! I was never a morning person b/c I guess I was too self concious about bad breath and how my hair must look.....LOL. I know it is crazy to a man, but that was just how I was. I think a lot of me (from what I have heard and read) must be wired to naturally be "ready" when they wake up, but not so for most of us women....and especially if she has kids that she has to get ready for school and all that other unromantic stuff that is rolling around in her head. As long as it was still before dawn, I could relax and not worry about the time, but afterwards, I had too much rolling around up there.
I could not help but get tickled b/c the last time I looked up your thread you were talking about your wife falling asleep. Maybe you should slip her some "no doze" pills in her drink. (LOL)
Hope you all have a good holiday.
Sandi
It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!
