You guys are pretty lucky, I also have to work on Christmas day. I am hoping we are slow and can spend some time with the girls.
What kind of crazy people commit crime on Christmas Day??? That's horrible!!! That does remind me my dad was hit by a drunk driver on Christmas Day, and our smoked turkey was in the back seat. My dad was ok though and the turkey too!!!
I had one of my best Thanksgiving days ever probably which is probably awful b/c I should be in mourning for my kids. Just had a blast at the Pastor's (do many people say that?). They are my age and so was another couple there, another couple was a little bit older, but everyone was so funny we laughed and joked and ate for 4 hours. I am never going to eat again!!! This is kind of how the evening went: One of the other guests said, "Come over any time and see my wife's ass". This b/c his wife has a miniature donkey. Then the pastor's wife says, "And I've seen it, and she's got a great ass too!".
The pastor is talking about making the Thanksgiving thing an annual event. I think we all really enjoyed it more than any of the people that went there to eat! They said there were only 75 people there last year, and over 250 today so I think it was a success! Hope you're all having a great day too! Karen
