Made it through Thanksgiving, on the drive out is was quiet small talk, had a wonderful time good friends and good food.
On the way home, (W had several beers) W was more talkative, and it was the same old story me, me, me, me, she talked anout her job prospects (or changing jobs), she talked about her living arrangements (may move in with her dad), she talked about her health (high blood preasure), she talked about her cooking abilities (how she cooks better than our host), she talked about her plans for the future (something in the medical field), she talked about her workout plans (is going to try to get to the park earlier for more time running), and on and on and on.
Wow, we got to our house, she kissed the kids and out the door she went, didn't even say goodbye to me (which is fine)
I was polite and courteous and I made it through the evening
