My ex called me just to talk about the kids and asked me about the job situation (I had told her about it a week ago). I told her it looks like I'm moving and she'll have to take the kids. She got quiet. She said "I don't want you to move". I said I don't want to move but I need a job. She said "it hasn't been the best year for you has it? I'm sorry. I'm sorry I hurt you." Honestly at this point I'm glad this was over the phone because I teared up. She said "I would miss you. Afterall you are still my best friend."
