Maybe I should be in piecing part 4?

Ya know what Pup. I like it. Not to offend any of the wonderful women here, but I get a little tired of the DAM comments. We're not all clueless.

W was off work today, stayed home making pies, and preparing other stuff for tomorrow. I had a really BAD day at work. It started bad and just got worse. At one point I thought we were going to have to do about a 7 hour job TOMORROW. Man, that would really suck. I know there's lots of people who have to work tomorrow, and I was one of them for many years, but having tomorrow planned off and W working her butt off to make a nice meal for our family and all the stuff that's been going on, it would just really SUCK to have to put in a full days work tomorrow.

I warned her this afternoon that things weren't looking good for tomorrow and I could tell she was disappointed. Well, late, late in the day we got things straightened out and I don't have to work tomorrow.

I came home and W let me bit*h to her about my day. Then I listened to her tell me about her day, the troubles she had with one of the pies, etc. I came to sit down on the couch and watch CNN and all the crap going on in India and she kind of softly says from the kitchen, "so do you have to work tomorrow"? in a voice that was saying, please, please say no. So I said, "Crap, I'm sorry, no, I don't have to work" and she got a smile on her face.

Still no response to my note from a couple days ago, but it was nice to see she was glad I don't have to work tomorrow.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I know we're all hurting, but be thankful for what we have. It will get better, I promise!
