CB - Don't worry man. I saw pictures of some poor guy that obviously did like your friends and didn't follow Doctors instructions. I don't want a hematoma spread all over my groin area like that dude, I'm taking it easy for a week. Did all the yard work last week. Just kicking back, reading and watching movies for several days.... Oh and posting online too...

The compression dressing method, so far, seems to work great. Holds everything in place so there isn't much movement. That and the pain medication. Remember NO ICE is my doc's method. He's a urologist that my GP recommended when I asked if he knew a good guy for doing a vasectomy. Talking to him in the consult, he has done a lot of study of different techniques to arrive at his current procedure. Oh and he has a lot of experience too.

The modification to the jock strap is a hole cut in it for "little cinco", that way you don't disturb the dressing when you go tinckle. Everything always held in place for 24 hours, then I can change the dressing. Can shower after 48 hours.

Time for another James Bond movie. \:\)

Glad to see your doing well. Keep resting..........

You know, I was thinking about you and your wife, and this is what I thought of....... >>> Have you noticed a diff in what has happened on the days where she is " happy " " touchy " and open to making love (( VS ) the days she is so defensive. I remembered you saying that you attributed it to mood swings. BUT.. have you noticed any changes in you on those days. Maybe you being less touchy..etc...... I don't know, just a thought.

Thanks Diane, yes I will keep resting. Today I'm feeling much better, I've only taken a couple of pain pills so far. Not much swelling at all and only one bruise about the size of a quarter on one side. Like CB says though I won't be running out and playing a round of golf or raking leaves or anything.

I know that sometimes her mood is the result of my mood. If I am mad or frustrated about something, of course it does nothing to lift her mood. I am very rarely mad at her directly though, it is almost always something outside of ourselves. If we however go for an extended period without intimacy my frustration is with her.

More often I am my normal happy self and her mood sinks for any number of reasons. You name it and it has probably been something that has affected her.

I do know that if I am too touchy, it feels smothering to her. There have been times when I have done the slow warm up throughout the day and it has worked sometimes as well. Find her, give her a kiss, tell her "I thought you needed a kiss", and then go about my business again.

Diane, I'm so sorry that you are still waiting for a letter from him. It has to be so difficult, your being apart for so long. I hope that a lap top PC will encourage him to write you.

Hi Ava - Yes feeling better day by day. No pain really just discomfort now. At least I get to shower now. Can't wait until I'm feeling my normal self again.

Thanks for thinking about me. \:\)

I'm feeling great now, just can't wait until the stitches are gone. I guess about another week to wait for them to dissolve.

Ok BIG news, I've got a job interview today with a pro audio repair shop. This is my dream job! No more working on boring circuits I don't care anything about. This is the stuff I read and think about most these days and with the experience I gain here I could go on to start my own business when times are right again. It's just down the road about 4 miles too. They've got benefits and I hope can offer enough pay for me to say "Yes. When do I start?"

Please, wish me luck on this one guys. It will be so cool to land a job like this.

Cinco,

Good luck and one bit of advice. When I interview a candidate I wnat them to bring excitement and enthusiasm to the company, but if they seem too excited, I worry why they are so desperate. Kind of like dating, right? Make sure they know you want the job and are really excited about the fit, but go in there with the idea that if it doesn't work out, you will find something else just as good (even if you have to lie to yourself). Just my 2cents.

Anyway, good luck again!

Hey everyone the interview went great! Thanks for your thoughts for me. I should hear early next week about a start date. The only drawback is that I hire in at a lower rate and have to prove myself before going to a rate for someone with my experience. At worst I can do something I like while I'm still looking for something else. Pays better than unemployment anyway. Stretch those severance dollars as far as they can go. \:\)
