H called me again about 20 min ago. Asking if the bank was open on Friday, or if I can take money for the truck payment today when I take Jenni her pies. Well I am meeting her in my town, and I told him I would check to see if they are open on Friday or not.

just went to put the whipping cream in the freezer, and H must have been going to fix himself a drink when he was packing, cause there was a bottle of Sprite and margarita mix in there, I think he was trying to get them cold fast. OOPS!

MT, don't be so hard on yourself but do stay strong and follow thru with your boundaries. H took just a few things, he is making a show of moving out and wants you to beg him to come back home. As Kel says, nothing will change if you allow that to happen.

You did right when you did not call him. He called you! IMO, you can say ILY but do not pursue him now. Let him flap like clothes on a line but you are the post that holds the line. You are strong.

I'd love to be at your house with all the wonderful scents!

Thanks you for the reinforcement WC. WOW this is hard, but I know for myself I have to do this. No matter the outcome, I deserve to be with someone who only wants to be with me.

Thank you! Do you have any big plans for tomorrow? A big Turkey while watching football? That is the thing I like about Thanksgiving, there is always NFL, on Christmas day it is NBA basketball, and bowl games. I guess I am just a bigger NFL fan!! Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by! I do appreciate it.

My family gathers at my folks, some spend the whole day and some come and go. Tradition is we all gather at Mom's each holiday and Thanksgiving is my favorite!

Yes it is hard but you CAN and WILL be okay. Keep your eyes on the horizon.

Surround yourself with things that will give you strength.
Here's one for you, when I remember the chorus I feel myself straightening up....

The Ride by Chris LeDoux
I was six years old, my brother was ten
One July day came running in,
seen a ferris wheel at the edge of town
So, of course, we headed on down

Well it took us an hour to walk that far
Carrying our fortune in a Mason jar
It was all pretty sad, a cheap county fair
With a few old rides but there was ponies there

Well, the ponies stunk and the air was still
In that dusty circle behind the ferris wheel
This old guy smelling of smoke and rum
Swung me up and sat me down on one

Well I'd never rode a horse but I'd seen it done
Cowboy movies made it look like fun
This old man whispered a few soft words
It was the best advice I've ever heard

Chorus:
He said "Sit tall in the saddle, Hold your head up high
Keep your eyes fixed where the trail meets the sky
And live like you ain't afraid to die
And don't be scared, just enjoy your ride"

I went up a kid with shaking hands
And I came down a full grown man
It was like he'd cast some Voodoo spell
Things were different for me now, I could tell

'Cos whenever troubles come wandering in
His rhyme would pop in my head again
And somehow I rode through the needles and nails
Brambles and thorns that life entails

CHORUS

Well I know some day farther down the road
I'll come to the edge of the great unknown
There'll stand a black horse riderless
And I wonder if I'm ready for this

So I'll saddle him up and he'll switch his tail
And I'll tip my hat and bid fairwell
And lift my song into the air
That I learned at that dusty fair

"Sit tall in the saddle, Hold your head up high
Keep your eyes fixed where the trail meets the sky
And live like you ain't afraid to die
And don't be scared, just enjoy your ride"
Now don't be scared, just enjoy your ride

MT, you are so perfectly right with this statement. It was exactly what I was floundering with in my thoughts on my thread.

Me too!

Give yourself a hug and lots of deep breaths MT. You have gotten very good advice above.

Thanks WC- You know I have heard that song a million times, but actually reading the words make it stand out even more. The new song by Brooks and Dunn "Cowgirls Don't Cry"...but this cowgirl seems to cry though!

Hope, WOW I just posted to you. I am thinking and sending hugs your way too. I just can't believe everything that has happened in the past 24 hours for us.

Ran into my SIL (the one I like H's sister) in Wal Mart we talked for quite a while, and my niece was showing me what she is getting for Christmas, I just laughed, she wraps her own stuff too!!! She is in 4th grade and is too funny. Lots of Hanna Montana. She asked about last night and we talked a lot. She would like to talk to him too, and tell him he is an idiot, but she knows it won't matter. It was nice to talk to her and she told me to come out and visit too. Jenni when I took her the pies, also told me she would be around and come out this weekend if I want. My RL friends are great too. Just like my friends here. Now it is time to make my stuff for at home and get the house cleaned up a bit.

Kel- Ended up downloading the movie from Amazon, as a rental. haven't gotten to watch it yet, but I will this afternoon.

H called while I was gone, probably to just see if the bank was open on Friday.

Hope everyone has a great day and make the best of it. We have so much to be thankful, just because he have each other and our friends and families. Take care everyone!

I am trying to breath!
