Thanks for such a long post I always feel I don't do you justice with my shorter replies cos I know it would take me an age to type as much as you did.

I am the type of person who can do open communication so if W said lets just snuggle then I would just do that, in fact in the past she would praise me for being so patient with her in waiting to ML, while all the time she was keeping me at bay and letting someone else in, but hopefully that's all in the past.

Today W phoned me with plans for New Year celebration (yes we plan that far ahead) instead of us staying at home together she wants us to travel to Essex ( just past London) to see in the new year with her friends. Normally I would try to get out of something like this but I said to her great lets just do it. W was very happy about that, very happy indeed.

Later on I had managed to knock the wind out of her sails, The bosses at work told me I had to be on a plane out to Asia tomorrow cos we have trouble at one of our factories. They said check with your wife then get your passport and get out there. W hates when I travel on business cos they always send me at short notice (or when W finds it inconvenient). Anyway they were being a bit hasty and I won't need to travel until the weekend.

So the weather here is 2c (36F) and falling, cold in anyone's language, we have the heating on but W is complaining of being cold, so it looks like we'll be snuggling again tonignt.
