I wouldn't he's in the fog and anything you say will not help. NO amount of reasoning even with parental issues will reach them. Your safest bet is to have no expectations from them, this protects you from being hurt so you can last. Only when the fog lifts can things be said and even then its process. The fog may lift and then come back down again.
