It's been a long time since we've had htis kind of weather at Thanksgiving. It has put everyone around here smack into the middle of Holiday spirits. Christmas decorations and music all over everywhere. I'm up for it this year

Hope, on your Beef Burgandy can I substitute venison for beef and call it Venison Violet? H got a doe and a buck this weekend during gun season, had 2 does from bow season, and has until January to do more hunting!
We have snow here, at least a real 3 inches, and it's 20 degrees warmer than last week! Pretty but I am still in denial about this whole winter season hitting already!

Yes, I use venison all the time in place of beef. Don't know what you could use to make it violet though, lol.

My H and both boys have hit deer at some point or another. With the boys it was as both had just begun to drive. With oldest S he was driving a small S10 pickup and the weather was still nice, he had the drivers side window part way down and it leaped into the cab with him. Smashed the window and cut his arm. Pretty scary. My younger S was driving my Grand Prix GTP, (back before Pontiac turned it into a Grandma sedan). $4,000 damage to the front end. Thank God for insurance.

Well, it looks like everyone checked out early yesterday. How was your evening? My coffee is really good this morn. Cold front moving through today. He he.... We haven't had cold like this in a few years. Maybe it's a gift from all of my wonderful friends on here.

Oh yeah.... I'm trying to share 33 degrees here today and still snowing on and off. Ugh.
My coffee it really good too. I brought a thermos, and though I usually don't drink cream I had some that was pumpkin spice, so I added that. A warm treat this cold morning.
I had sort of an alien sighting this morning in the hot tub. Don't worry, I didn't react. But it has made me sad. I know that this will probably be a hard winter. I'm already thinking about MT's warm island.
