Well...just had an odd experience...

I was off from work today - having a washing machine delivered and getting some intensive DIY in...

At about midday I get a TM from W - "is it ok if I pop in for a brew at bout 2.45?

I knew she was going to be around my area today so it wasn't a major trip - but sure enough she called just before 3 and stayed for an hour or so - chatted about nothing in particular and we drank teas and ate cake - she showed me her new glasses she picked up this morning and we chatted about that community funding I am after. She said she will help if she's free...

Not over-analysing it - but it was...nice!

Lan - I'm sorry you didnt understand the astrology! I forget that it makes perfect sense to me! Its a big week for sagi's like i said. Well, the feeling will spread from this week anyway.

GFI - no, you are not the 13th sign! THere was a bit of a fuss over a 13th sign a few years back, slotted in between Sagi and Capricorn, but not so.

I am amazed she dropped in for tea and cake... thats huge, I would say that she is beginning to miss you.. like, acutally miss you. Good for you!

OK - had 2 GOOD Days!

Friday - I had a guy come round and connect my gas fire and cooker and another guy come round and diagnose the problem with my gas boiler...

Waiting for them meant that i had to work from home! Also good! Cos that meant 1. i didn't have to spend an hour driving into and then out of work! And 2. no worries about being late picking up H from school!!! Its always a dash when i have to pick him up n a friday cos the traffic is worse earlier!!!

Yesterday was h's Christmas Fair! I met an avalanche when he came out! He bowled into me with a " lets go to the Christmas Fair!"

Folks - this is the Christmas Fair with The Programme I have been slaving away at for the past few weeks - he was due to see Santa at 5.15 and I thought at 3.20 - "thats a pretty long stretch!" So went and did a couple of chores and turned into the Christmas fair at about 4.30...
Still plenty of time for H to go through his money which W had helped him sort out into his wallet!

anyway - £20 lighter!!! his and mine! We came back to my house for a nice night

and this morning - got loads of rubbish stuff off to the tip was was good - cos the back garden was starting to look like Steptoes Yard! Took 4 rubble bags + bath i pulled out...

Then this afternoon W arrived - and she helped with painting H's bedroom and then took him off to get a desk and drawers for his bedroom...

then - we went to a local Greek taverna - yep ((((Kalni x))))) - I wrote that right! a local Greek taverna! All authentic! Apart from the sun and the sea!!! I know - hard to believe in the middle of the UK! And the 3 of us enjoyed an absolutely lovely collection of our favourite dishes as our reward for a good afternoon's work! - not really sure bout the "cod fish roe" though! - Hmmmmm...
