She had sent to me,
"Hey, you don’t have to agree with me silly, lol I had to stay late yesterday"
Later, I responded, after much internal fighting,
"Well, if the dye fits.
Stay warm. I had to work today. I'm in the office, but I sit next to the door. I don't have my jacket so my hands are freezing and I have "dangerous" fripples.
She sent back,
"Lol, I’m at work too, and the heater isn’t working and I have windows all around me, I’m cold too."
I sent back,
"I know you. Don't poke anybody's eye out.
Leaving soon. Have no idea what we're gonna do today. I've been wanting to BBQ like a mad man lately, just haven't gotten to. Either tonight or tomorrow. I heard that Incarnate Word(local private university) might light up the school tonight, so might drive around there to see. "
She got busy after that and she knew I had left work soon after.
I'm really trying. It may not seem like it, but I am. I want to do the right thing. I think it would be different if the holidays weren't here.
