There are two of us so we trade every other week. Although, I am hourly and he is salaried so I am still first on the list. If I want to take calls on his week to collect OT I can.

spirit isnt doing lay offs they are on 3 day work weeks because of the boeing strike. and wont start back to full shifts til after jan was the plan.

Journaling--Sad day today. Thinking about Thanksgiving and we have a court date scheduled for Wednesday. I went to PTA activity last night at the kids school and spent time with the kids. Before I drove down, W asked me to setup her laptop to work with the wireless network in the house. I got there and we didn't talk much. Kids got ready for school and we walked over together. W was tired and I said she could go home and go to bed and I would get the kids home. She finally took me up on the offer and left. S had a sleppover at a friends so it was me and D watching a movie on the couch for about a half an hour. W woke up and got a drink asked if I would get her computer out of the car, so I did and then she went back to bed. D and I watched TV a little more and then I put her into bed and left. W was asleep so I told D "goodbye" and slipped out the door. I figured I might get a call today from W, but she is in her world I guess. I came into work to get a backup and then lunch, errands and church later.

LE, it is a sad time of year for those of us going through this. But as long as we remember that in time we'll be happier some where down the line; the sadness is only temporary.
Hard to believe; but we've got to try.
Nice that you got to spend some time with the D though. Priceless moments indeed.

We are all gonna have some rough spots over the holidays. But, you can get through them. I'm glad you spent some time with the kids, and your W appreciated you getting D to bed, I'm sure.
Hang in there...I'd say you could join us for Thanksgiving, but, knowing what I know about my cooking skills...you'll be much happier eating with BG at her house!!!!
