I have been thinking about what your wife said when she first approached you about the letter. Your timing was bad because of a quiltin class? Seriously????? Then insinuating that you're being a bad father because of the kids college money? Again, SERIOUSLY???? WTH???? She has no clue that M is the TOP priority, does she? She is too focused on her own selfish needs and the plans already made (which should never be counted on to be concrete) to see the pain and suffering you are experiencing because of her indifference. She can't see that your M must be priority #1 for anything else in your lives to work properly. She has been given her way far too long. You have allowed her to make all the demands, and have followed them for too long in order to keep the peace. Now she expects it at all times. her word is law - her way or no way! If mama ain't happy, then no one is happy!
You shook her boxed in little orderly world. I wonder what it is that makes her tick Jeff. She saounds so hard - hearted to me. What do you love about her? What made her fall in love with you? Has she ever told you? Where do you want y our M to be 1 year from now? What would happiness with her look like? I know, these are difficult questions. I've asked them of myself, and answered them which is why I am where I am now.
You have a unique opportunity now Jeff, and I am very interested to see where you take it. Keep us posted on your next steps.
