You know, that's what I don't get. I understand that blood is thicker than water, but their grandchildren/grandnephews, etc. are their blood. Why cut off ties with them? So unfair to the kids. There are no winners in a divorce, that's for sure.
Mandy, I think you did the right thing. And, it's good that you have no expectations, but it would be lovely if the auntie responded.
