The W just called to tell me of all the stuff that she bought D4 at the consignment shop that I went to last night. Said that she got a 10% discount because I was in there last night.
So she asks if I got firm plans for the evening; 'cause she told me that she would keep the kids tonight remember. Well this morning when I asked her if she HAD plans; she said Yes; but it was no big deal. Well, guess what; now if she doesn't leave by 8pm this friend will be mad because she's been to 3 other friends' BD parties and she can't miss this one. I had no response.
She asked where are you going? I told her that I was having dinner right after work and after that I was going to (j - a suburb north of town -- one OM lives there).
w: "why are you going there?" me: "(dan) has friends over there." w: "oh, ok!"
Then she mentions that she's going to see if FIL and his wife will keep kids. Said that she would call me and let me know. I said that sounds good. I told her to have a nice day; she said "you too, talk to you later honey."

I was set in my place on this early on in my parenting life. When I was living in GA; my boy was less than a year old. My Aunt asked me one time what I was doing one particular night; I told her that I was babysitting the S.
She corrected me quickly by saying "You can't babysit your own kids; you take care of them."
Have you been keeping a log of how she has been? LE makes a good point - I see my W trying to do things to show she is the "primary caregiver" - not that this matters. BUT her actions over this entire year show different.

yes, I've been keeping a log on this woman since late March. Believe me what you guys speak of is exactly what's been on MY mind. Even if that's the case, hopefully she can maintain a relationship with the kids.
