The W just called to tell me of all the stuff that she bought D4 at the consignment shop that I went to last night. Said that she got a 10% discount because I was in there last night.
So she asks if I got firm plans for the evening; 'cause she told me that she would keep the kids tonight remember. Well this morning when I asked her if she HAD plans; she said Yes; but it was no big deal. Well, guess what; now if she doesn't leave by 8pm this friend will be mad because she's been to 3 other friends' BD parties and she can't miss this one. I had no response.
She asked where are you going? I told her that I was having dinner right after work and after that I was going to (j - a suburb north of town -- one OM lives there).
w: "why are you going there?" me: "(dan) has friends over there." w: "oh, ok!"
Then she mentions that she's going to see if FIL and his wife will keep kids. Said that she would call me and let me know. I said that sounds good. I told her to have a nice day; she said "you too, talk to you later honey."
WTH is up with "honey" crap? Charm offensive must be getting ready to start. Gotta stay strong and detached.
