S15 is seriously depressed about the divorce apparently, says he doesn't like OW (what a shocker huh) and stuff. Glad he's seeing a therapist, but wish he didn't have the flaky dad. The C was saying how people have to go through crisis and stuff & it can help us grow, but geez wish the kids could just be kids a couple more years.

The black velvet painting was a gift H gave to D9 for her birthday. It's one of those black velvet paintings, didn't know they had Elvis, that one might not be so bad, but you know I've seen the dogs playing poker on black velvet. They sell them on the street corner around here, not in an actual store. H's painting is of the Roadrunner, but I had to tell D9 who that was, I think his popularity was more when we were kids. H's and OW's gifts (whistles, flutes, etc.) seem designed to irritate me more than please D9, but I get a kick out of the black velvet painting. I feel like it indicates their taste in art (or maybe lack of taste). \:\)

Oh, yeah, my L is scary. Everyone I meet in town has horrifying experiences with her. I almost emailed H today wishing him luck tomorrow (I actually felt sorry for him for a sec), but I wisely didn't! \:\) Karen
