Well its an improvement over my recent attitude and is getting back to the "old" me. I spoke to my SIL the other night and she made that very comment. She was telling me how she had noticed how much weight I have lost and how Iam changing the way I deal with her brother and my general person. Her comment was, "You're almost my old Corey again." It was really sweet, but it really spoke to me about how much I have changed over the 20 years we have been together. Who I was at the beginning, who I became and who I'm becoming again. It was nice to hear but sad at the same time.

BTW...the snark and sarcasm have always been pretty constant. Just so ya know.

I think that's great to hear. I've thought that too, I've been working on myself but mostly just returning to who I was originally, stronger and more independent and yeah, thinner! That's very cool. And someday we'll have H's or R's where the guy really appreciates us too!

Going to meet my "On Crack" legal advisor and MIL to get the rest of the papers I need to get the settlement agreement on file and done. That will make me feel better, somewhat.

Thanks Yenk. I say my legal advisor is "On Crack" but thats just because she is SO DAMN FUNNY! I LOVE her. Shes forgotten more about Family Law than most L's know. Shes a true blessing to me and a kick to be around too. As far as the Meth Heads...we have more than our fair share of tweakers in my part of sunny Cali, so I appreciate the offer, but will decline just the same.

Apparently H told MIL about the birth of the baby on the phone last night, the convo went something like this.

H: Well, the new baby was born.
MIL: So, hows that workin' out for ya?
H: Ok I guess.

What a lovely and touching family moment. She also reminded him not to sign anything and that was about it.

Why does it bother me so much that he refers to this child as, "The New Baby?"

Gotta let it go..........

Its !!!!FRIDAY!!!!!!! I don't know why that makes me happy, but it does.

I'm going to the "Festival of the Trees" with MIL and SIL tomorrow. Its going to be fun. If MIL keeps DD tonight I may go over to my friends house with DS and kick his a$$ at Rock Band...or do homework (which will suck.) I may see if my niece wants to come over tomorrow night so I can go roam around and do something. Getting tired of staying home so much (more of the old me returning). I should clean my house, but I REALLY don't want to. We are going to have to go through the kids' rooms and get rid of a bunch of stuff in preparation for Christmas. My DD has more damn stuff than any one child should be allowed and its time to clean it out.
