SOrry, your H and OW are like that. What can you do. Ignore them. You are not like them at all.
Yeah, they are so different! I focus on just getting presents that will make D9 the happiest, instead of trying to irritate H or OW. Weird way to live I think.
We went to D9's favorite restaurant for dinner last night: KFC!!! But she and even S15 like it so we did that. Then made a white cake with chocolate frosting and pink icing. It actually tasted better than I thought it would. My icing is getting better (it looked really bad on S15's) but this time it looked like I had just had a bunch of tequila shots (kind of wobbly looking) but you could kind of read it!
Yoyo and Corey, love the necklace/flute idea. I've put it on a shelf for "safekeeping" (and where I don't have to look at it or hear it) and plan to bring it out a little before she goes to H's for the weekend. I was thinking maybe about teaching D9 the 99 bottles of beer on the wall song, but maybe changing it to milk to be a little more pc? Still the longest, most annoying song I can think of. What a fun idea!!!
And the black velvet painting they gave D9 I put on the mantel I emailed H I put it there "in a place of honor." It's so ugly; it actually doesn't bother me and H can enjoy it when he's here. I guess it shows their taste in art (OW wrapped the gifts and probably helped pick them out).
Have to go to the L again! tomorrow after I already met with her 2 hours on Monday. She wants to meet before deposing H. Yuck! I won't be going at least. I hope he will pick up the kids Friday night and I will be somewhere else. You know my L is super nasty so I plan to avoid H as much as possible this weekend!!! Karen
