Man, that sukks. My wife's affair, while only about three months, encompassed both Father's Day and my birthday. Although they were obviously strained, my wife made sure the kids honored me, and she gave me a card and said "Happy Birthday."
Always best to stand back and calm down before you react. You are the bigger person here and you are sticking with the high road. Your W has chosen poorly by taking the low road. It has all kinds of potholes and pools of slime and these nasty creatures that cast spells on you and bewitch you. Her feet are getting stuck in the muck.
Sadly the only thing you can do to help her is to stand strong and wait at the crossroads for her to catch up and break the evil spell.
