It appears he is holding off until after the holidays to "talk". Just get yourself mentally prepared for it and do what you feel is right. Delay it as much as possible. That's what I have done and look it what happened. If my H can't afford to legally serve me the petition will be dismissed and he will have to start all over again. Granted that if this does happen and it looks like reconciliation is not possible then I will file and be done but it will be my choice and not his.
