Lovely- it IS like a British Sitcom in our office. It's actually just like The Office, which I think you guys also have over there. I even do a version of a David Brent dance sometimes and we all laugh about it
Mishka- I didn't read the messages in front of H, but maybe I could have. I don't think it'll help if he suspects someone else- so far it hasn't precipitated any reaction from him, apart from an obliquely jealous comment once in June!
Handsome- I should write a paper on it. Not sure what journal it would go to though- Journal of Irreproducable Results maybe?!
Today was pretty busy at work. CEO and I finished a document we've been working on and we managed to get it sent out. He used his nickname for me after a bit of a break (nothing dirty- Chief), and we work quite well together as a team on these things. We also chose the worktop for his kitchen today. He's started seeing someone, which is probably a good thing- usually the women he sees run out of things to say after the first 2-3 weeks and then start pursuing behaviours when he backs off, so we'll see how this one does. My USP is that I don't initiate R talks until at least a year of dating, and am actually interested in plumbing, football and science
No word from H, but a guy who took me out for lunch a few weeks ago mailed to say he's looking forward to drinks tomorrow night. That's quite sweet. CEO said he always knew that that guy liked me (they know each other as acquaintances). I'm also supposed to be meeting a different guy for lunch tomorrow but he didn't confirm today so we'll see if it happens. I probably sound like a bit of a floozy with all that going on!
