She's feeling quite a bit better tonight, though she is still clearly not well. So, at least for now, I am planning on Thursday. There's no way I'd give her this on an evening when she has to work the next day. I rather expect it will disturb her sleep.

Your W is a champ at putting up boundaries and enforcing them. She won't 'let you' tell her you love her. SO, what will she do if you tell her anyway? wash your mouth out with soap? make you sit in the corner? not sleep with you and withhold sex? assign extra chores for you to do? She is an Ice Queen surviving in her thermal insulated world. In your easy going way you've allowed her to set the rules and you have abided by them. Now you're turning the heat up and she is going to get quite uncomfortable. Expect rebellion from her and tension between you, but I don't think she will lose much sleep over it.
