YR,

Sending thoughts & prayers for you & your family. I'm so sorry to hear about the set back with your dad!! He has been through a lot lately & he was doing so well. I hate to hear about it. But lots of prayers are going up for him!!! How old is he?

You take care yourself, I know you worry & wish you could be there!

Hi all!

Thanks for coming by. My dad is doing better. The swelling is going down and maybe he will be getting out of the hospital by the end of the week. He sounds wonderful and says he can't wait to get back to health so he can do things he likes.

Glad to hear your Dad's on the mend again, (((YR))). It must be so frustrating for him!! My favorite aunt, who also had a lot of problems with diabetes in her later years used to say "This getting old crap sure ain't for sissies!!" \:D Aunt Shirley was full of gems like that.......

And thanks for stopping by my thread. Your "mentorship" is much appreciated.

YR,
Glad to hear that the meds are helping and your father is back on the mend again. Tell him and your mother (both) that they need to take it easy when he gets home. They both will require plenty of rest and very little excitement for a while.

Your dad is a fighter and he's going to be just fine. As always, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

SC You are more than welcome. I share when I can.
My dad is only 72 and this day and age they have such good technology, thank goodness. He has always been in good health and only had been in the hospital once for gall bladder. He sure is making up for lost time, isn't he?? LOL

Snodderly

I don't know what it is about you, but you always give me such a calming feeling when you post to me. I want to thank you. You are always filled with such good advice and helped me more than you will ever know.

Your right my dad is a fighter and is going to be just fine. My H and I wished that they would move down here, but they love Colorado and my dad doesn't like the heat of the summer here in Texas. Oh well!!!!
