So, H and I just had lunch. I was returning some clothes near his work so I called and asked if he fancied coffee. We had a nice time- it was pretty relaxed and comfortable. His eye contact was better than last week, although it changes with the wind. It could be because I'm showing some cleavage today- at one point H was almost gawping. LOL!
He remembered a couple of things from our life and referred to us as 'we' which was nice- he's only done that once in the last year as far as I can remember (or that I've noticed). At one point I had to refer to us as having the same surname and he didn't flinch. As reminders of being married go that's a pretty big one, so I think I'll chalk it up as a baby step.
As I was going to leave he started a whole new conversation about his flat (guess what, his flatmates are annoying him). I replied with a joke about me getting them for him, which he seemed to find amusing. Then he said he'd speak to me later in the week and we said goodbye.
Almost as soon as H and I sat down for lunch, meanwhile, CEO started a bit of e-mail flirting. He didn't know I was with H, but talk about timing.
