I thank you all for your replies and advice, what I am gonna say is that I am gonna put it on hold for now, I have heard something that has made my mind up, the fact that ex and her were in the local bar and a couple of our old friends went in and they invited our old female friend to go sit and have a drink, ex waited whilst wifey was at the toilet and asked the friend (who coincidentally is the one who keeps in touch with me and shunned him on marrying her, and this is the friend whom wifey approached in the toilet for a fight just before they married, ex hasnt bothered with her and her husband since then, and they were two of our bestest friends) anyhow back to it, whilst wifey was at the loo ex asked my friend if she sees anything or hears anything from me, and he asked how I was, didnt ask about son, but she told him I had sent her a picture of son and what a good looking strapping big lad he is turning into, to that he gave no response, I am maybe wondering if it was god that was letting me know that something is brewing and if he is asking about me and this is the first time since we split, then at least he remembers I did exist in his life. anyhow like I said I wont read too much into this and I wont hold the olive branch just yet
