Another grueling appt. with my L. 2 hours long. The good news is that I don't have to go to H's depo on Friday. Really don't want to hear about his trips with OW or how horrible he thinks I am.

The L is so rude. For example, she asks me to bring in a few things every week like info or summaries or look over legal documents of H's and write up notes or whatever which she either wants at the next appt. or dropped off at her office asap. And I have always done so. We're talking probably dozens of crap, bank statements, credit card statements which I have always done so asap. She asked me to do a monthly budget of how much the kids and I need, which I did, but didn't turn it in to her b/c it's $45,000 or something I believe which is probably too much. I'm going to trim it down today a bit and give it to her.

I had told her the long history of my kids' evaluations and stuff and one of the things I told her was S15 has short-term memory issues. So she asks me do you have short-term memory issues? I mean if I did would I have brought in the other 3 dozen pieces of crap she told me to? Grrr.

She asks me questions and when I answer she reprimands me for interrupting her. I've started saying you asked me a question and I am answering, and she'll say I was just talking to myself out loud??? I hate this L!!! Is this an L thing or something, b/c the Ls I know currently are such azzes!!!!

She was also suggesting that the public school system here in FL might be better for them (they have no special ed though and 30 kids in a class) might be better for them b/c I don't standardized test the kids. I was trying to explain when you homeschool you already know what level the kids are doing reading, writing, and math, and you don't have to test when you are working with the kids one-on-one most of the day. She seemed to think it was criminal--how can you not compare your children to other children in public school she wants to know. Geez, their autistic and dyslexic, why would I want to find out how many grade levels they are behind at a certain year; it doesn't change your daily work and working at their level. My ds now is reading adult level books, but was a couple years behind early on. What does it matter that he took extra time to learn to read? Karen
