My dad was put back in the hospital this morning. He has had a rash, severe swelling in his leg and blisters. No telling what it is but at least they are not taking any risks with him. I think he will be okay. He was feeling so much better, walking in the yard, resting and doing all the right things. He sounds like my dad again.

As for your H....he is just lost right now. Is he still in China? Remember they move at their own pace.
My sister just called and he has a severe infection in his leg. She said it is triple the size and he has a big blister over the top of his foot. It is really red and swollen so they are going to keep it for a few days to get it cleared up.
My dad told me not to worry at least there is no surgery this time!!! He was trying to be humerous so I know he will be okay!

YR, I'm sorry to hear that your father is back in the hospital, but if he's got an infection, that's the right place to be at this time. Did they say what type of infection? Is it a Staph infection?
My thoughts and prayers are with him and I know that he'll be home again very soon. How is your mother taking all of this?

They think it is a staph infection. It has spread to both of his legs now. It's better that he is in the hospital and getting taken care of. My mom is doing okay, thank goodness she is hanging in there. I think they need a well deserved vacation after my dad heals!!!!
YR, I thought that the infection sounded like a Staph infection. They've caught it in time and the antibiotics will take care of it. My father had one similiar to that last winter and the antibiotics worked quickly and it was soon gone.
I'm glad your mother is okay. They both will need a nice long vacation when this is over with.

The bad thing about the infection is that my dad is diabetic and he also can't take anything with codine or those similar drugs. I am sure that he will be fine in a few days. I bet he got the staph in the hospital!
