I have a few friends that are cops that have offered to persuade him to own up and be a man but I don't know if even that would help.
Add one to the list.
We got mixed up in this mess when trying to buy a house. W's exh did not pay a lot of bills he was supposed to. We ended up having to settle to pay part of the bills to get my W's name off of them. They left his name on for the rest of the amount. He and your H must be in the same club.
